The General Store is a destination for our guests and the Keats island community. The assistant store keeper will work with other staff members in the store to serve ice cream and espresso drinks, process payments and create a welcoming environment to our guests. The assistant store keeper position is a great way to gain Barnabas experience for those who wish to be on summer staff in the future. This is a month long position that is offered in both July and August and is open to high school students.

The program assistant position is a new month-long volunteer position for the summer. This person will assist the program team in a variety of ways, from helping in skits and music, to hanging out with kids groups and facilitating afternoon activities for families to enjoy. The ideal person for this position is a high-school student who is interested in joining our program team after graduation.

The coxswain is second in command to our rowing club captains. The coxswain position is a great stepping stone for those who wish to be on Barnabas summer staff in the future. Gain leadership experience and lead by example with the rowing club in their kitchen, childcare, and cleaning responsibilities. Come join our farm team for a month as our Farm Volunteer! Working alongside our farm crew you will be involved with all the activities on the farm: seeding, weeding, harvesting, taking care of animals, and welcome program groups and guests to the farm.
