Flourishing Pastors & Leaders is an intimate retreat capturing the heart of our vision: to see Rooted and Flourishing Families and Leaders. We long for Christian leaders who are influencing their communities, the Church and the world, to come away and receive from Jesus what they most need in order to thrive: rest, encouragement, inspiration and friendship.

We are praying that these few days will provide refreshment and new strength to continue in your work of love and service. This retreat will be facilitated by Melissa Lochhead, alongside Matt & Jamie Boda. We warmly invite you to join us, whether on your own or with your spouse.

This retreat shouldn’t be confused with the Pastors Retreats that we run in collaboration with The Pastorate.

Matt and Jamie Boda met in high school, began dating in college and married forty years ago. Ten moves, five daughters, five son-in-laws and fourteen grandkids later, they are still together serving the Kingdom of God and His people. They have served churches in Kelowna, Regina, Philadelphia, Calgary and Salem, Oregon.

These days Jamie’s time is devoted to her role as a spiritual director and as grandma to those grandkids. Matt serves the Alliance churches in Alberta and the NW Territories as district superintendent. Both Matt and Jamie love the mountains, travelling, walking, reading and any time they get with their kids, grandkids and friends. Having visited over 50 countries over the years, the Bodas are humbled by opportunities to serve Christ and His family as kingdom influencers.
