[Our Vision]

ROOTED & FLOURISHING
FAMILIES & LEADERS

At Barnabas, our unique role within God’s Kingdom is to prepare a place for Families and Leaders to find rest. It is in joyful and restorative connection that we grow deeper roots in God’s presence and deeper relationships with one another.

We know that Jesus longs for families not just to survive, but to flourish in the abundant life He offers. We are also confident that God wants to equip his church with healthy leaders — leaders who, from the overflow of what they receive from God here, can return to their work reinvigorated and refreshed.

[Our Mission]

WE SET THE TABLE FOR YOU TO SHARE IN THE RESTORATIVE BEAUTY OF JESUS.

The food at Barnabas is one of the things that new and returning guests repeatedly comment on. Our farmers and chefs love collaborating to create meals that both nourish and delight, and that celebrate the joyful array of colours, textures and flavours that God brings forth from the earth.

We believe that the table signifies God’s desire to be with His people in tangible, sustaining ways — His longing to “come in and eat with” us. Jesus is the first Host and also the Bread of Life, and all are welcome at His table. We as the Barnabas team also come hungry to God’s table, and recognize that our calling is to share the feast we have been invited into.

Through beautiful ensuite rooms, lovingly tended grounds and gardens, stunning ocean and mountain views, farm-to-table meals and carefully roasted coffee, our team warmly welcomes you to join us in receiving from Jesus an experience of His beauty, love, and presence, that we hope will leave you more whole than you were before.
