Welcome to our 24th annual Valentine’s Day Weekend! In addition to enjoying the very best that our kitchen has to offer—along with wine pairings and delightful desserts—Valentine’s offers the opportunity to go deeper into what makes Barnabas so special: encouraging stories, rich relationships and a vision for life together with Jesus. Sharing with us this weekend we have our dear, longtime friend of Barnabas, Mark Buchanan.

Donation
In addition to the standard prices which represent our typical guest fees for any retreat, we kindly request that each person coming also make an advance donation of $250 (2 nights) or $350 (3 nights) to help cover Barnabas’ operational costs.
MARK BUCHANAN
Mark Buchanan is a Canadian author, former pastor, and Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at Ambrose University. Mark has written twelve books exploring themes of spiritual formation, leadership, and biblical imagination, including What is Left of the Night, God Walk and Your Church is Too Safe.
Alongside his wife Cheryl, Mark helps lead New Story Community, a ministry serving Indigenous women. They have 3 adult children and live in Enderby, B.C.
